Patrick Wenning established Alta Technologies inc. in 1995 when he saw a need in the networking industry for a remarketer of networking hardware.  While Alta Technologies initial focus was on the remarketing of the Unix and Cisco product lines the ever-changing networking industry presented exciting challenges and growth opportunities.  Alta Technologies inc. has grown into a company that while now still focusing on remarketing used and refurbished hardware is able to offer, factory new hardware, repair services, short-term rentals, technical assistance and maintenance parts for all Cisco, IBM, SUN, HP and Unix product lines.
