What was the first storage device of IBM?

The first storage device of IBM was the IBM 350 Disk Storage Unit, introduced in 1956 as a part of the IBM 305 RAMAC computer system. This was the world's first commercial hard disk drive. Really cool!

I can guarantee that we have nearly any legacy storage system you might need, but something that old belongs in a museum! We’re particularly fans of the Computer History Museum in San Jose. While Alta stocks legacy and recent equipment alike, we’re hit or miss on equipment older than 25 years old, let alone 70!!
