The Juniper Networks AP63 Access Point is a robust Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) solution designed to ensure high-performance wireless connectivity in challenging outdoor environments, promoting enterprise business continuity and operational efficiency. These ruggedized and weather-resistant access points excel in extreme conditions, meeting service-level expectations (SLEs) and delivering unparalleled user experiences.

The AP63 integrates Juniper's patented Mist AI for AX capabilities and a dynamic virtual Bluetooth® LE (vBLE) antenna array, automating network operations and enhancing Wi-Fi performance. Additionally, the integrated technologies provide real-time network insights and location services, including User Engagement, Asset Location, and Contact Tracing, all without the need for battery-powered BLE beacons or manual calibration. Managed by the Juniper Mist cloud architecture, the outdoor AP63 is well-suited for diverse environments such as retail curbsides, enterprise campuses, public venues, outdoor stations, and industrial sites.

The tri-radio 4x4 802.11ax access points boast maximum data rates of 2,400 Mbps in the 5GHz band and 1,148 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. The third radio functions as a versatile sensor, handling network, location, and security tasks, along with synthetic test client radio functions and spectrum monitoring. Advanced features like Radio Resource Management (RRM) automate dynamic channel and power assignments, considering Wi-Fi and external interference through its dedicated sensor radio.

The AP63 Series ensures proactive network monitoring, promptly sending alerts in case of abnormal service behavior. The Juniper Mist cloud architecture captures and streams packets to the cloud during major issues, enabling swift resolution. The AP63 Series effortlessly connects to the Juniper Mist cloud architecture, downloads configurations, and joins the appropriate network. Offering Wi-Fi Assurance, User Engagement, and Asset Visibility services, this access point includes a base analytics capability, simplifying the extraction of network insights for optimal resource alignment and the introduction of premium services. Controlled via BLE cloud services, the AP63 features a 16-element virtual Bluetooth LE (vBLE) antenna array, enhancing its turn-by-turn location services.
