The Juniper Networks EX8200-48TL is a versatile solution offering 48 oversubscribed (2.4:1) 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports, making it an ideal choice for cost-effective GbE server access in high-density data center end-of-row applications. Beyond server access, the EX8200-48TL is suitable for converged access and aggregation/core deployments, connecting various devices such as management stations, analyzers, sniffers, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention/intrusion detection service (IDP/IDS) devices, server load balancers, and more.

This line card delivers up to 24 Gbps and 36 million packets per second (pps) performance, supporting MACSec functionality on all GbE ports in hardware and featuring eight quality-of-service (QoS) queues per port. When configured exclusively with EX8200-48TL line cards, a single EX8208 chassis can accommodate up to 384 GbE ports, while a single EX8216 chassis can support up to 768 GbE ports.

As part of the Juniper Networks EX8200 line of Ethernet switches, known for their powerful, modular platforms, the EX8200-48TL ensures high-performance, scalability, and carrier-class reliability, making it well-suited for diverse enterprise data center and service provider interconnect applications.
