This system is based on the SPARC M7 processor, which is the first to employ Oracle's breakthrough Software in Silicon technology. Oracle's SPARC M7 processor has a Silicon-protected memory feature that may detect and prohibit incorrect operations to application data through hardware monitoring of software access to memory.
