Dell PowerVault MD1400 Storage Array Information:
In Dell's 13th generation of PowerEdge servers, the Dell PowerVault MD1400 storage array is designed to increase storage capacity while also improving system performance. In a 2U form factor, this enclosure can hold up to 12 drives, or it may be expanded to eight enclosures to hold 96 drives and 960TB of data. The Dell MD1400 can be outfitted with up to 12 large form factor (LFF) or 12 small form factor (SFF) storage devices. Maximum storage is achieved using 12x 3.5-inch 10TB NL-SAS drives to provide a maximum of 120TB of storage.
