The FAS9000 combines your SAN and NAS storage infrastructure with NetApp ONTAP data management software. The FAS9000 is NetApp's most powerful FAS system, designed to take full use of 40GbE and 32Gb FC, and its intelligent modular design improves reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS). FAS9000 hybrid storage systems outperform the previous generation by up to 50%, increasing throughput, cutting latency, and satisfying rigorous service standards. Onboard NetApp Flash CacheTM caching based on NVMe technology is included in the base configuration. Using NetApp Flash PoolTM intelligent data caching, this may be enhanced with up to 16TB of onboard NVMe flash and up to 144TB of hybrid flash. Hot data is promoted to flash in real-time, ensuring that you get the most out of the flash performance.
